Rebecca and Travis were an awesome couple to work with from Chicago, IL and were planning an extravagant Yosemite destination wedding.
​
From coordinating a week long wedding timeline and itinerary full of welcome dinners and DNC bus transport for guests from 3 different locations, the Carley wedding went off without a hitch!

​

I first met Rebecca and her mother Dawn when they were inquiring about our restaurant catering "Trabecca's" (Travis/Rebecca's celebrity abbreviation) rehearsal dinner at the Redwoods in Wawona. I was so excited to hear that Rebecca needed a day of wedding coordinator for her incredible wedding to be held at the historic Ahwahnee Hotel. The Carley Johnson wedding is what dreams are made of, let me tell you.

Their wedding ceremony and reception was stunning with Half Dome as the backdrop on the wedding lawn. Guests were mesmerized by the great beauty that surrounded them for 360 degrees... which was barely comparable to the gorgeous bride in her stunning mermaid sleeveless lace wedding gown.

Inside the Solarium Rebecca's tables were filled with vintage brass candlesticks, David Austin roses, seeded eucalyptus, dahlias, roses, and wood rounds that her father had cut for centerpieces from their property in Mariposa. Each guest table was named after a country that the newlyweds had travelled to (traveling is definitely their thing!), complete with a photo of the couple in that country.

 

The food was magical, and the drinks never stopped flowing. Guests danced the night away in the Solarium, and the music billowed through the halls of the historic hotel until late in the night.

I was honored to be a part of the Carley Johnson wedding, and will never forget my first Ahwahnee Hotel experience with them! It was definitely one for the books!
